This project was something I had been thinking about for a while as my education in environmental education and natural resources, combined with my time spent working for the US Forest Service, all exposed me to different parts of the information presented in this series. Then COVID19 happened last winter and I went out and purchased How To Survive A Pandemic by Michael Greger, MD, FACLM at NutritionFacts.org. This book was my introduction to the topic but I wanted more. So, while on lock down I decided it was time to explore the literature and take a deep dive into the science on the topic of pandemic diseases. In addition to watching part one of this 4 part series, I also encourage you to pick up a copy of Dr. Greger’s book and reach out to learn more about how you can take some next steps to live more in harmony with the environment and help use your purchasing power to make a better world for your children.
